Watching the movie is like viewing movies produced two decades ago. If there is an adjective worse than worst, it would be this movie. On the first ten minutes, I’m already bored. On next 20 minutes, nothing changed. The movie was one hour and thirty minutes long. Imagine my boredom.
The movie started in the beginning of the end of the story. They were already shooting on a large extra-terrestrial ship. Moreover, there were not enough backstories or flashbacks, for you to infer what really happened.
The cinematography was poor. I can hardly recognized action scenes. The camera keeps aiming on unnecessary elements too long. I am no expert in filmmaking but the way I see the movie it’s like an amateur film. It had the worst script I had ever come across. It did little on discovering what the movie was all about.
The characters were no different – still the worst. I don’t know if it’s the director or they just can’t act enough. The visual effects were surprisingly dull. It did more harm than good. It was never realistic, especially the gunfire. They were like a flickering flashlight.
It might have been better if today was a decade or two ago. I have nothing against the world domination plot. In fact, the movie had potentials. But they had done it all wrong. Perhaps the trailer was better than the movie itself. I don’t give tolerance to a B-Movie, low budget film. All I can say is that the movie was a total crap and, undoubtedly, the worst movie I have ever seen.
Note: Unfortunately, I have been tricked. I watched the Battle of Los Angeles not the Battle: Los Angeles. I have no idea how bad/good is the latter one.
